Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how the Board Pro subscription is billed, how to cancel, and your right of withdrawal as a consumer in the EU. Purchases and refunds are handled by Polar (Polar Software Inc.), acting as the Merchant of Record; card payments run on Stripe.
1. Subscriptions and cancellation
Board Pro is a recurring subscription (monthly or yearly) that renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account or via the link in your Polar receipt email. When you cancel, your Pro access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no further charges are made. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
2. 14-day right of withdrawal
As a consumer in the EU you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract (Consumer Protection Act, ZVPot-1). For a digital service this period starts when the subscription is concluded. If you would like to use Board Pro immediately, you may be asked to agree that the service begins at once; you keep the right to a refund of the unused portion as described below.
3. Refunds
If you are not satisfied, contact us within 14 days of a charge and we (or Polar, our Merchant of Record) will refund it, less any period you have substantially used. Refunds are issued to your original payment method, usually within 14 days. Renewal charges for a new period can be avoided by cancelling before the renewal date.
4. How to request a refund
Email hello@taxia.solutions with the email address on your account and, if you have it, your Polar order or subscription reference. Payments and refunds are processed by Polar (Merchant of Record).
5. Consumer disputes
We do not recognise any out-of-court consumer dispute-resolution body (IRPS) as competent under the Slovenian Out-of-Court Resolution of Consumer Disputes Act (ZIsRPS). Please contact us directly and we will work with you to resolve any issue.
